A heart of cornflower, pink pepper and aromatic rosewater keeps it fresh and a little sour before a light base of patchouli and vanilla nods to Angel's gourmand-oriental heritage without the heaviness. The original is a fresh, summery reinterpretation of Angel: light and aquatic with a musty patchouli kept airy, with below-average projection but surprisingly decent longevity. This clone keeps that sour-sparkling-citrus signature and the soft patchouli-vanilla drydown, but pushes the fruity sweetness slightly louder while the patchouli reads simpler and projects close to the skin. It's a fun, light spring-summer fresh that captures Aqua Chic's charm for pennies.
