Urban Oasis bursts open green and crisp with galbanum, basil and tart black currant - vivid and slightly soapy, channelling the original's verdant attack if a notch less feral. The heart softens into dewy lily-of-the-valley, hyacinth, jasmine and ylang-ylang with a faint almond warmth, smoothing the sharp greenness into something almost herbal-floral. Oakmoss and patchouli give a clean chypre base. Next to Frederic Malle's Synthetic Jungle, this dupe gets the unmistakable green-floral concept across but lacks the original's hyper-saturated, polarising intensity and its impressive sillage; it wears closer to the skin and more linearly. Longevity is moderate. The result is an easygoing, uplifting green floral that feels fresh and a little bold - ideal for spring and warm-weather daytime wear when you want that just-watered-garden brightness without the niche price.
