Rebel Aromas Delena is an Eau de Parfum. Delena opens with Rhubarb, Bergamot, and Litchi, settles into a heart of Rose and Peony, and dries down to a base of Musk, Vanilla, and Incense. Rebel Aromas's Delena carries an Acquired verdict, a fruity-led wear.

Delena leans directly on Parfums de Marly's Delina, matching its signature lychee-rhubarb-rose opening note for note. What it can't replicate is Delina's patented Petalia molecule, which gives the original its diffusive, room-filling sillage - this version is a fainter, more polite rendition of the same idea.

About

Delena is one of the more transparent tributes in this range, mirroring Parfums de Marly's Delina almost exactly on paper: a tart lychee and rhubarb top note over bergamot, giving way to a dominant Turkish rose and peony heart, closed out with cashmere-style musk, vanilla and a touch of incense. The pyramid is a close match, and the opening spritz is genuinely reminiscent of the original's mouth-watering, fruity-floral character. Where it falls short is performance and diffusion - Delina's cult status rests partly on its patented Petalia molecule, which bridges rose, peony and grapefruit into a vibrating, room-filling sillage that lasts 8-10 hours and lingers on clothing for days. This dupe has none of that molecular trickery, so the same notes read as softer and more polite, settling close to the skin within a few hours. Still, as an easy, inexpensive way to enjoy the Delina mood for daytime wear, it does a genuinely decent job.
