Silk Vanilla is the newest alcohol-free perfume oil from Samad Fragrances, a small Birmingham house founded in 2024, and the brand describes it as warm vanilla over soft woods, lifted by pear and grapefruit. The opening is crisp pear and pineapple, bright and juicy rather than syrupy. Grapefruit and jasmine lift the heart, adding a sharp citrus edge and a touch of white flower so the sweetness does not arrive too soon. The base is creamy vanilla wrapped in warm amberwood, which keeps the sweetness soft and slightly dry.
