Snif Suganami is an Eau de Toilette launched in 2022, created by Ugo Charron. Snif's Suganami carries a Favourite verdict, a floral-led wear.

Suganami is a divisive iris-myrrh scent. Some find it a sophisticated, modern powder dream, others a musty, synthetic mess. It's a 'your skin but better' vibe for some, while others get play-doh or old carpet. Definitely sample first.

Top, heart and base are the brand's own listing, not a timing claim - the industry classifies a note by its character as much as by how fast it fades. Each curve here is modelled from that material's own volatility, so groups can overlap when a house lists long-lasting materials in its heart.

When To Wear

Best Seasons

Best For:
Spring Fall Winter
Also Works:
Summer

Versatile across every season - no clear seasonal preference from wearers.

Best Occasions

Best For:
Office Casual
Also Works:
Date

Its moderate performance and clean, powdery nature make it ideal for office and casual wear, providing a polished but inoffensive presence. While it has an intriguing quality suitable for dates, its intimate sillage might be lost in formal settings, and it's certainly not built for sport.

Declarable allergens

We derive these from the materials behind this fragrance's notes, not from the bottle. Each one is likely, not confirmed. The list is partial - the box can name others.

In standard patch-test panels

  • Geraniol from Rose

Other declarable allergens

  • Synthetic musk Hexamethylindanopyran from Musk

The large name is the everyday one. The small name is the INCI form on the box, so you can compare the two. Reactions differ between people. A patch-test panel is not a ranking of risk. How we derive this

About

This scent opens with a peculiar blend of earthy angelica and a hint of coriander spice, quickly transitioning into a soft, powdery iris heart. As it settles, a warm, resinous myrrh emerges, backed by creamy musk and a subtle woodiness from cedar and cypress. The rose is barely there, allowing the iris and myrrh to dominate, creating a smooth, comforting, yet slightly mysterious aura that lingers as a clean, warm skin scent.
