Strangelove NYC Lost In Flowers is a perfume oil launched in 2018, created by Christophe Laudamiel. Lost In Flowers opens with Lily of the Valley and Cardamom, settles into a heart of Oud, Jasmine, and Saffron, and dries down to a base of Sandalwood, Patchouli, and Clean Musk. Strangelove NYC's Lost In Flowers carries a Statement verdict, a floral-led wear.

Lily of the valley and cardamom over tagette, champaca and jasmine, with saffron and oud on oakmoss, patchouli, musk and sandalwood. Lost In Flowers is a layered, deep floral oil, not a light bouquet.

Top, heart and base are the pyramid as published, not a timing claim. Each note's timing follows its listed tier, where it usually sits across many published pyramids (from ScentPrism) and its vapour pressure. A note comes through as the notes usually listed before it fade, judged from how other pyramids order the same pair. The thickness of a ribbon shows the note's share of what is left on the skin, which tracks how strongly it smells, because odour thresholds rise with vapour pressure. The shares come from how prominent wearers vote each note. It is a simple model, not a measurement.

When To Wear

Best Seasons

Also Works:
Spring Autumn

Lily of the valley, jasmine and champaca suit spring, while cardamom, saffron, oud and oakmoss give it the depth for mild autumn days.

Best Occasions

Also Works:
Date Casual Formal

Floral enough for daytime and weighty enough for the evening, it is happiest on dates and relaxed outings. It is too heavy for sport and a little rich for a close office.

About

Lost In Flowers is a perfume oil from Strangelove NYC with its own pyramid. The brand calls it ethereal and profound, ties it to the thrill of new love and the discovery of pure floral essences, and names jasmine, champaca, gardenia and saffron in its own account. Lily of the valley and cardamom open it, fresh and a touch spicy. The heart is all flowers: real tagette, red champaca absolute and jasmine, joined by saffron and oud. Gardenia enfleurage, French oakmoss, patchouli, white musks and sandalwood anchor the base. The flowers are central, but the spice, oud and moss stop it from being a simple, light bouquet, and the name hints at something prettier than what you smell. It lasts long on the skin, with a moderate reach and strength, so it stays close without vanishing. Spring and mild autumn days suit it best, but the florals work in daytime and the oud and moss give it enough weight for the evening. The mix of airy blooms and grounded woods is innocent and seductive at once.
