This dupe keeps the same aromatic-gourmand shape, opening with lavender over a sweet vanilla-cacao heart that reads as warm and comforting rather than cloying, which is a fair echo of the original's reassuring, quietly confident character. Where it simplifies things is the vanilla itself: Burberry's three-part vanilla accord is what gives Goddess its unusual depth and slow-shifting texture over the course of a wear, while No. 865 uses a flatter single vanilla-musk base that reads pleasant in the first couple of hours but doesn't develop much beyond that.
