The Essence Vault's No. 753 is built around the same coastal-fig idea as Acqua di Parma's Fico di Amalfi - a fig grove warmed by the sun and framed by citrus. The opening is a genuinely close match, with juicy fig and bright bergamot doing most of the work, lightly spiced by pink pepper. Where the original develops real depth through a milky, green fig accord layered over creamy cedarwood and subtle musk, No. 753 keeps things simpler: the fig reads a touch more one-note and the cedarwood arrives leaner, without the original's soft, lactonic richness. It also settles into skin faster, losing the Amalfi original's slow-burn Mediterranean warmth within a couple of hours. For a beach-bag fragrance or a first taste of the fig-woody genre it delivers the holiday mood convincingly, but it won't fool anyone who knows the real bottle up close.
