No. 511 - Intense amplifies The Essence Vault's take on Byredo Gypsy Water, boosting the concentration to close some of the longevity gap left by the standard version. The juniper-pine opening is fresher and more assertive here, and the vanilla-sandalwood base is richer and creamier, giving it noticeably better staying power on skin. It still can't match Gypsy Water's layered, almost ritualistic build from cool forest air into warm incense and amber - here the transition happens fast and settles into one comforting vanilla-wood note rather than continuing to shift. As an intensified budget alternative for cooler months, it does the job; as a faithful recreation of the original's complexity, it falls short.
