The Parfum Hub Cairo Valley is an Eau de Parfum. Cairo Valley opens with Incense, Apricot, and Raspberry, settles into a heart of Sandalwood, Guaiac Wood, and Cotton Candy, and dries down to a base of Amber, Patchouli, and Tonka Bean. The Parfum Hub's Cairo Valley carries a Statement verdict, a gourmand-led wear.

Cairo Valley matches La Luna's unusual incense-raspberry-cotton candy combination well on paper, though the guaiac and sandalwood woods read thinner and the tonka-amber base fades faster than Gissah's own blend.

About

Cairo Valley takes on Gissah's La Luna, a fragrance built around an unusual pairing of incense and fruity-sweet cotton candy notes over a woody-amber base. That contrast is the hardest part to reproduce convincingly, and this dupe does a reasonable job of it - the incense stays smoky rather than turning generic, and the raspberry-apricot-cotton candy sweetness balances it in the opening hours. The guaiac wood and sandalwood that give the original its structure come through more faintly here, and the tonka-patchouli-amber base settles into something simpler and less resinous than La Luna's drydown. Worth trying if the sweet-smoky idea appeals to you and the full-price niche original isn't in budget.
