American Psycho opens with sorbet, white wine and mint, a cold, fruity and fresh start. The heart is lavender, saffron, clove and Sichuan pepper, which adds an aromatic, spicy and slightly tingling quality. The base is ambroxan, creme brulee, musk and sandalwood, a sweet, creamy and smooth finish with a clean woody edge. It is a modern, fresh-to-gourmand scent with a lot going on, and it changes noticeably as it wears.
