For Them
Gender-fluid modular fragrances built to be worn solo or blended.
For Them is a fragrance project created by Etienne de Swardt and developed with Mane in France. The line was built around an explicitly inclusive concept: the perfumes are designed to be worn alone, paired, or blended together, with the brand framing the collection as gender-fluid and aimed at couples as well as individual wearers.
The range uses short, concentrated formulas and minimalist packaging that visually reinforces the blending idea, including numbered bottles and a plus-sign identity system. Product listings and the brand site show the line is composed of numbered fragrances, with scent ideas that can run from marine-citrus to richer gourmand and musky directions. The brand's core proposition is less about a single signature note profile and more about modular layering, emotional pairing, and a deliberately non-binary positioning in fragrance.
A indie, premium house known for musk compositions.
The brand emerged as a system of paired and blendable fragrances rather than a conventional pyramid of standalone releases. Its positioning leans into inclusivity, non-binary identity, and emotional pairing instead of traditional gendered marketing. Public-facing product information also suggests a small numbered collection with varied accords, indicating an experimental but tightly controlled direction.
For Them is strongest as a concept brand: smart, contemporary, and easy to understand. If you want a fixed signature scent DNA, it is less compelling; if you want modular, identity-led perfumery, it is genuinely distinctive.
