A British niche house bottling the emotions of sport in four eaux de parfum

About Synisca

Synisca is a British fragrance house founded in London by Charlotte, whose surname the house does not publish. It launched in 2026 with four eaux de parfum, each tied to a sport, and describes its aim as bottling the emotions of sports rather than the way sport looks from outside.

The founder says sport has always been an escape, and that most sports fragrances smell clean, fresh and aquatic. Synisca instead builds each perfume around the feelings of a particular sporting moment: a spray before work, after the match or on the way to dinner. The name honours Cynisca of Sparta, the first woman to win at the Olympic Games in 396 BC, with the prefix syn, meaning together. The house ties it to strength, resilience and a wish to do something different.

The four perfumes follow an arc from cold to warm. Dawn Eight is rowing at first light, with pink pepper, bergamot, mint, lavender and coffee over vanilla and cedar. Deuce is racket sports, with mango and bergamot, jasmine and incense over amber and vanilla. Chukka is polo, with orange, bergamot, coriander and oud over leather and patchouli. Nineteenth Hole is golf, with tobacco, vanilla, cacao and tonka bean over smoke and vetiver. Every purchase comes with a free sample of the scent and a 30 day return on an unused bottle.

Synisca sits in new, concept-led British niche perfumery: one clear idea, four scents and direct sales through its own website. It suits wearers who play or follow sport and want a perfume that reflects the feeling rather than the locker room, and buyers who like a story behind a bottle.
