Dolce & Gabbana The One EDT is a divisive one. While many hail its warm, sexy aroma as a date night classic, equally many decry its notoriously poor performance. It's a gorgeous scent, but be prepared for it to fade into an intimate skin scent far quicker than you'd like.

This is Divain's version of Dolce & Gabbana's The One for Men, the brand's spicy-woody signature built on ginger and cardamom over a tobacco-amber base. The core spice accord translates well, but the dupe's tobacco reads a little flat next to the original's richer, more textured amber-tobacco drydown, and the whole composition wears closer to the skin.
