About

Chocolate fudge is a confectionery accord, not a material. It is cocoa over a boiled sugar-butter base with a nut through it. It is built from chocolate, a caramel-cream-vanilla body, and hazelnut. It is sweeter and creamier than the published chocolate and dark-chocolate notes, and unlike white chocolate it keeps the cocoa.

Both descriptions found are fragrance-oil listings written for candle and soap makers: CandleScience gives 'top notes of vanilla... softened with cream and hazelnut before sinking into a gooey batter of chocolate, sugar, and praline', and Nature's Garden gives 'rich, dark chocolate swirled with ribbons of buttery caramel and vanilla creme, sprinkled with toasted almond slivers and creamy hazelnut'. No aroma house publishes a chocolate fudge base and no fine-fragrance trade source describes one.
