About
Evee is a captive molecule from Laboratoire Mane. One retailer describes it as bridging vanilla and spice, and adding the burn of clove. No maker datasheet, CAS number or chemical name could be found for it, so what it is chemically is not known here.
Scent Profile
Sweet_vanillic leads because the one descriptive source puts vanilla first: the molecule 'bridges the gap between vanilla and spices'. It is held far below the published vanilla note at 0.90 because a bridge is not the thing it bridges to, and because one sentence of retail copy is the whole of the evidence. Warm_spice is the other half of that bridge, set just under the vanilla side because the same sentence says the molecule brushes the blend only 'lightly' with 'the burn of clove'. Clove itself scores warm_spice in this vocabulary, so a light brush of it lands here. Below the line, amber_resinous and creamy_woody are the faintest reading of the company it keeps, not of anything a source says it smells of.

Origin
A Mane captive, which means Mane makes it and sells it to nobody else. The only source that names its maker is retail copy for Etat Libre d'Orange's Bijou Romantique. Whether it is a single molecule or a compounded base could not be settled. Mane's own site, the aroma-chemical trade pages and the patent databases returned nothing.
Usage in Perfumery
Used in base and drydown accords beside vanilla, labdanum, tolu balm and woods. It appears in four fragrances across three brands: Bijou Romantique, Bois 1920's Dolce di Giorno and Verde di Mare, and Olfattology's OT 23. In every one it sits with warm resins and spices and never with the citrus or green top notes.
