Steam distilled from Rhododendron groenlandicum, the Labrador tea of northern Canada, and sold as Greenland moss although it is a flowering shrub rather than a moss.
Usage in Perfumery
A green-balsamic note in natural perfumery, largely an aromatherapy material with limited fine-fragrance use.
