Lemon cream is a gourmand accord, not a single material. Perfumers build it from lemon materials joined with lactones for the milky part, and with vanillin and coumarin to soften the tartness. It takes its model from lemon curd stirred into fresh cream.
Usage in Perfumery
It is used as a top-to-heart gourmand note, to give a citrus opening a soft, dessert-like body. Vanilla and tonka materials are paired with it to mask the sharpness of the lemon.
