About
Lemon ice cream is a gourmand accord: zesty lemon over a churned dairy base sweetened with vanilla. No supplier sells a material or an oil under this exact name. The vector is built by analogy from the nearest dessert accords that are sold by name, lemon creme and lemon cheesecake, and both build the same shape.
Scent Profile
Citrus leads and both analogue sources open there: 'bright top notes of zesty lemon, lime, and a hint of sugar' and 'fresh lemon zest'. Parfumo's structural claim agrees, because it records the note as sitting in the top of a pyramid. It is held well below the published lemon at 0.95 and below lemon-zest at 0.95, because in every description the citrus is folded into a sweet base rather than left to stand alone. Lactonic is the dairy and it is what earns this note a row of its own. General Wax names 'a rich heart of buttery whipped cream' and calls the layer 'creamy, indulgent'. It runs above the published gelato at 0.62's level for a reason: churned cream is the medium here, not a facet. Sweet_vanillic is the third thing and both sources name it, one as 'warm, caramelized sugar and rich vanilla custard elements' and the other as 'smooth vanilla'. It is deliberately kept under the lactonic, which is what separates this from lemon-pie, where the sugar and meringue outweigh the butter. Below sit sour for the 'tangy' edge General Wax names, a light powdery sugar dusting, a small fruity lift from the lime the same source lists, a faint cooling_mentholic for the frozen serving temperature, and traces of aldehydic, nutty, honeyed and clean_musk that no source names at all. Those low values carry wide spreads because nothing states their absence either. There is no pastry here: nutty, against on lemon-pie, because no source describes a crust.
