Peach cream is a gourmand accord, not a material. Nobody sells a base under this name. It is built from two lactones: gamma-undecalactone for the peach, and gamma-dodecalactone pushed toward warm milk for the cream. Vanilla sits under both. Against plain peach it is heavier on dairy and quieter on the fresh juicy top.

Scent Profile

Lactonic leads and it is the one facet both halves of the accord contribute to. Scentspiracy files gamma-undecalactone's odour type as "Fruity-lactonic" and its profile as "Rich, creamy peach-like aroma with fatty, lactonic undertones", and files gamma-dodecalactone as "Sweet peach-apricot, creamy, waxy-fatty". Fruity sits below peach's own on purpose. Every fruit claim here arrives already wrapped in cream, and the community source describes the peach as "swirled with the soft richness of sweet cream" rather than bitten into. Sweet vanillic is the dairy-and-vanilla layer, named by both trade sources ("vanilla facets", "warm-milk nuances with heliotropin or vanillin") and by the blog ("subtle touches of vanilla or almond"). Below that sit four small facets. Tropical is the coconut that Scentspiracy names twice. Nutty is the "soft nutty" nuance in the same list, backed by the blog's almond. Powdery is the "soft powdery finish", claimed by the community blog alone. Green is the "soft green rind nuance" that Arctander gives gamma-dodecalactone, and it is a trace by that source's own wording.

Both halves are synthetic and both are lactones. Gamma-undecalactone (CAS 104-67-6), sold for decades under the trade misnomer Aldehyde C-14, is described by Scentspiracy as "a powerful fruity-lactonic profile characterized by rich peach and apricot notes" with "distinct creamy, fatty, and coconut nuances". Gamma-dodecalactone is the larger ring, and the same supplier, citing Arctander (1969), says the extra carbons shift it "from the coconut-like freshness of delta-lactones toward a richer, waxy-creamy peach character". Its listed use is "gourmand/dairy accords (0.1-1 %) for warm-milk nuances with heliotropin or vanillin". No fragrance house publishes a captive base called Peach Cream.

Fragrantica prints it in 10 perfumes and Parfumo records 1 placement from 1 brand. Perfumers use it where a peach needs to read as dessert rather than fruit. PerfumeStars places it "as a heart or base, lending smoothness and warmth". The same lactone that builds it made Mitsouko's peach, so the material is old even though the accord name is recent.
