Peach Tree names the tree of Prunus persica rather than its fruit. Perfumes use the term two ways. Most pyramids place it in the base beside woods, and there it reads as the wood. Two brands describe it as the blossom instead. The woody reading leads and the floral reading is a real minority.

Peach Tree smells dry and woody first, cut timber rather than a resinous or smoky wood. A sappy greenness runs through it, more inner bark than crushed leaf. Some read it instead as a floral note, calling it peach tree flower rather than wood. Both readings sit in the vocabulary, with the woody one leading.

There is no peach-wood oil. No supplier found sells a peach wood, bark or twig oil, absolute or CO2. What reaches perfumery from this tree is the fruit accord, the blossom and the leaf, each a note of its own. Peach Tree is a reconstruction. In its woody reading it is built from woody and sappy materials. In its floral reading it stands for the blossom.

9 perfumes listed Peach Tree as a note on 2026-10-10, all from 2018 onward. 4 place it in the base beside woods. Three of those are by the perfumer Lizi for Nankeji. Nankeji's Peach Blossom (2019) lists peach leaf, peach blossom and peach tree as three separate notes, with the tree in the base beside oud. Terra·T's Ici, le pas s’arrête (2026) sets it with sandalwood and birch. 2 place it in a floral heart, and Lootah Perfumes calls it 'peach tree flower' in Immerse (2018). Orientica Premium opens Rose Éclat (2025) with it and calls it 'juicy peach tree blossoms'.
