What is ScentArt?

Origin

Siriúba is a Brazilian name for Avicennia schaueriana, the mangue-preto of the Brazilian coast. Its leaves have salt glands that pass salt out of the plant. In Pará the trunk is used to make carimbó drums. The note is a reconstruction, not an extract. Natura made it as a 'bioessence' for Ekos Ryo Festa (2024). Natura says its bioessences capture the smell of the living plant and reproduce it, with nothing extracted from the tree.

Usage in Perfumery

A base note. Its one known use on 2026-10-10 was Natura Ekos Ryo Festa (2024), a woody aquatic perfume by Verônica Kato. There it sits in the base with copaiba balm, breu-branco, musk and vetiver, under river notes and dark woods.
