The flower of thyme, not the leaf. Soft and floral with a lemon edge and a honey sweetness, where the leaf is sharp and medicinal.

Scent Profile

Thyme Blossom is softer and more floral than the leaf, which is sharp and medicinal by comparison. A honey sweetness runs through it, the same honey bees gather from the blossom. It still carries a herbal thyme character underneath, just softened rather than gone. A hint of lemon citrus and a touch of green from the flowering top round it off.

What is ScentArt?

Origin

The bloom of Thymus, the same plant that gives the thyme note. No supplier was found selling a flower-only extract. ScenTree's white thyme oil is a whole-plant distillation timed to the bloom, and Premiere Peau's thyme absolute is made from 'flowering tops and leaves' together. So a perfume that prints this term is naming a part of the plant, not a material with its own trade sheet.

Usage in Perfumery

A softening qualifier on thyme. It is used where a perfumer wants the herb's identity without the phenolic bite. Attested twice on Parfumo across two brands.
