Vetyvalone
Note Profile
About
Clean rooty vetiver with grapefruit
Scent Profile
Vetyvalone smells of natural vetiver root: woody, earthy and rooty, blended smoothly. It recalls vetiveryl acetate more than the crude oil. A bright grapefruit edge and a green note lift the top. In a blend it can read slightly watery and clean.

Perfumers use it as a woody-vetiver material that gives a natural vetiver effect from one molecule. It is very potent, with a reported odour threshold of 11 ng/L in air. It appears in Avon Segno Impact (2021).
