Aēsop Ouranon is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2023, created by Barnabé Fillion. Ouranon opens with Petitgrain, Lavender, and Elemi, settles into a heart of Frankincense, Hay, and Chamomile, and dries down to a base of Patchouli, Tonka Bean, and Myrrh. Aēsop's Ouranon carries a Statement verdict, a musk-led wear.

This is a properly unique, divisive scent - some find it a spiritual journey, others a bit too 'barnyard'. It's not for everyone, but those who get it, really get it.

Top, heart and base are the brand's own listing, not a timing claim - the industry classifies a note by its character as much as by how fast it fades. Each curve here is modelled from that material's own volatility, so groups can overlap when a house lists long-lasting materials in its heart.

Office Date

Its moderate performance makes it versatile, suitable for casual wear or intimate settings where its unique character can be appreciated without overpowering. While some find it too niche for the office, its calming nature can work, and it's definitely not for sport.

About

Ouranon opens with an herbal, almost medicinal freshness of petitgrain and lavender, quickly giving way to a dry, sun-warmed hay and calming chamomile heart. The journey deepens into a resinous, earthy base where ancient frankincense and myrrh mingle with grounding patchouli and a whisper of sweet tonka bean, evoking old temples and forgotten fields.
