Imagine a whisky distillery by the sea, filled with wooden barrels. That's Akro Malt. It opens with a potent, almost aggressive hit of whisky and rum, quickly followed by a salty, almost briny seaweed note. Underlying this boozy marine blast, rich leather and earthy patchouli emerge, creating a complex, dark, and decidedly un-fragrance-like aroma that settles into a sweet, fermented warmth.
