Mesnee d'Hellequin is listed as one group of notes rather than a pyramid. Canadian fir balsam, cypress and cedar give it a sharp, resinous conifer backbone, and galbanum with other green notes adds a bitter, leafy bite. Oakmoss, lichen and cepes bring the damp, earthy floor of the forest, while vetiver and teak add dry, woody depth. It is a green, woody and earthy scent with very little sweetness, made for anyone who wants to smell the outdoors rather than a perfume counter.
