April Aromatics Calling All Angels is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2013, created by Tanja Bochnig. Calling All Angels settles into a heart of Rose, Honey, and Incense, and dries down to a base of Woody Notes, Amber, Vanilla, and Tonka Bean. April Aromatics's Calling All Angels carries a Statement verdict, a musk-led wear.

Divisive yet divine. Calling All Angels is a honey-drenched incense bomb that splits opinion: some find it a sacred masterpiece, others a cloying church nightmare. It's certainly not for the faint of heart, but those who 'get' it are utterly enchanted.

Top, heart and base are the brand's own listing, not a timing claim - the industry classifies a note by its character as much as by how fast it fades. Each curve here is modelled from that material's own volatility, so groups can overlap when a house lists long-lasting materials in its heart.

Fall Winter

A cold-weather scent - best worn in winter and autumn.

Best Occasions

Best For:
Date Formal

Casual

Its potent, resinous and sweet character with moderate sillage makes it too dominant for most office environments, but perfect for evening dates or formal events where its richness can shine. It also fits well for cosy casual nights, particularly in colder weather.

About

Calling All Angels unfurls with a rich, ecclesiastical incense, instantly evoking sacred spaces. This smoky, resinous core is softened and sweetened by a generous pour of warm honey and a delicate whisper of rose. As it settles, a complex base of balmy amber, deep woods, and creamy vanilla emerges, creating a dense, almost gourmand, yet still profoundly spiritual, drydown. Expect frankincense and myrrh to lead the charge, with benzoin and labdanum adding a sticky, balsamic depth.
