Candy Rock opens bright and sugary, with bergamot lifting a marshmallow-and-rock-sugar accord that reads almost identically to Kayali's original in the first ten minutes. Vanilla and caramel take over through the heart alongside a white floral note that stands in for the original's more distinct jasmine-tinged bouquet - simplified here into a general sweet-floral impression rather than anything traceable to a single flower. The base brings musk, patchouli, benzoin and sandalwood together into a soft, powdery sweetness that lingers comfortably through an afternoon. It performs well for a budget gourmand - noticeable projection for the first couple of hours before settling into a skin scent - and suits anyone who loved the original's playful, candy-shop energy but wants a cheaper everyday version for casual wear, daytime dates or simply feeling nice on a Tuesday. It is not trying to be subtle, and it does not need to be.
