Aromara Delight is an Extrait de Parfum. Delight opens with Bergamot, Neroli, and Pink Pepper, settles into a heart of Orange Blossom, Jasmine, and Honeysuckle, and dries down to a base of Marshmallow, Vanilla, and Caramel. Aromara's Delight carries an Acquired verdict, a sweet-led wear.

Delight is Aromara's take on Kilian's Love, Don't Be Shy, the marshmallow-orange-blossom scent that became a cult favourite for its comforting sweetness. Aromara leans the marshmallow and vanilla base up front sooner than Kilian does, giving Delight an earlier, more instant sweetness at the cost of some of the original's slow-building orange blossom nuance.

About

Love, Don't Be Shy made its name on a marshmallow-vanilla base soft enough to feel like a hug, wrapped around a neroli-orange blossom heart that keeps it from tipping fully into candy territory. Delight follows the same structure - neroli, bergamot and pink pepper at the top, orange blossom, jasmine and honeysuckle through the heart, marshmallow, vanilla and caramel underneath - and the marshmallow-vanilla base is genuinely convincing, arriving warm and comforting within the first hour. The difference is pacing: Kilian's original takes its time letting the orange blossom bloom before the marshmallow fully takes over, whereas Delight brings the sweetness forward faster, which some wearers will actually prefer if what they want is the cosy, sweet part of the experience without the wait. The honeysuckle and jasmine soften the citrus opening nicely, though the overall composition reads a shade less layered than Kilian's, settling into a simple sweet-floral-vanilla skin scent by the afternoon rather than continuing to shift. At 35% Extrait for a fraction of Kilian's price, Delight captures the addictive marshmallow comfort that made the original a repeat-buy scent, even if the journey there is more direct and less nuanced.
