Blossom Perfumery 044 J. Choo is an Eau de Parfum. 044 J. Choo opens with Orange and Pear, settles into a heart of Orchid, and dries down to a base of Toffee and Patchouli. Blossom Perfumery's 044 J. Choo carries an Acquired verdict, a fruity-led wear.

No. 044 stays close to the original Jimmy Choo eau de parfum's pear-orchid-toffee-patchouli structure, landing a recognisable sweet, fruity-floral impression, though the toffee-patchouli dry-down thins out faster than the original's rich, tenacious finish.

About

The original Jimmy Choo eau de parfum is built on a fairly compact formula of pear and orange top notes, a tiger orchid heart, and a toffee-patchouli base, and No. 044 reproduces that same shape faithfully. The opening brings pear and sweet orange together for a juicy, inviting start close to the original's crisp fruitiness. The heart is a soft, slightly sweet orchid that echoes the original's exotic floral note reasonably well, if less nuanced. The base of toffee and Indonesian patchouli gives the expected rich, gourmand-patchouli finish, though it feels thinner and less resinous than the designer version's dense, chypre-leaning dry-down. Given how compact the original formula already is, this ends up one of the more accurate matches in the range, recognisable as Jimmy Choo from the first spray, but the toffee-patchouli warmth fades within three to four hours rather than lingering the way the real thing does, making it a decent night-out option on a budget rather than a genuine equivalent.
