Blossom Perfumery 156 Delina is an Eau de Parfum. 156 Delina opens with Rhubarb, Bergamot, Nutmeg, and Litchi, settles into a heart of Musk, Rose, Peony, and Vanilla, and dries down to a base of Cedar, Vetiver, and Incense. Blossom Perfumery's 156 Delina carries an Acquired verdict, a rose-led wear.

Inspired by Parfums de Marly Delina. The lychee-rose-musk core is a good match on application, but No. 156 lacks the original's powdery, almost creamy rose depth and its remarkable all-day silage.

About

No. 156 follows Parfums de Marly Delina's celebrated formula: litchi, rhubarb and bergamot up top, a Turkish rose and peony heart, cedar and vetiver underneath. The opening captures the fruity-rose signature well - it's easy to see why this is one of the most-duped niche florals around. Where it falls short is the original's extraordinary longevity and its soft, powdery-musk finish that can still be detected the next morning; this version's rose fades to a light woody musk within three to four hours and loses most of its projection well before the working day is out. A pleasant, affordable rose fragrance for daytime wear, but not a substitute if it's Delina's legendary staying power you're after.
