Blossom Perfumery 064 Chances Tendre is an Eau de Parfum. 064 Chances Tendre opens with Quince and Grapefruit, settles into a heart of Hyacinth and Jasmine, and dries down to a base of Musk, Mineral, Amber, and Cedar. Blossom Perfumery's 064 Chances Tendre carries an Acquired verdict, a fruity-led wear.

064 leans on Chanel Chance Eau Tendre's grapefruit-quince opening, but the fruit reads sweeter and simpler, and the soft musk-cedar base loses the airy, blurred quality that makes the original so wearable.

About

064 draws from Chanel's Chance Eau Tendre, one of the softer, more delicate entries in the Chance line. The opening is a solid likeness - grapefruit and quince give the same juicy, slightly powdery freshness that made the original a favourite for light, everyday wear. The jasmine-hyacinth heart follows the same floral direction, though it sits a little further back and reads simpler, missing some of the original's carefully blurred, almost watercolour quality where the florals melt into the fruit rather than standing apart. The base leans on musk, cedar, and a touch of amber for warmth, and while it's pleasant, it fades faster and loses definition sooner than Chance Eau Tendre's soft, cushiony dry-down, which is known for lingering gently for hours. It's a fine, inexpensive introduction to the fruity-floral-musk genre and nails the top-note impression, but it doesn't hold the same delicate, long-wearing softness that makes the real Chance Eau Tendre so easy to love.
