Blossom Perfumery 083 Alluring Homme is an Eau de Parfum. 083 Alluring Homme opens with Bergamot, Lemon, Mandarin, and Lavender, settles into a heart of Anise, Cedar, Vetiver, and Patchouli, and dries down to a base of Musk, Leather, Amber, and Sandalwood. Blossom Perfumery's 083 Alluring Homme carries an Acquired verdict, a fresh spicy-led wear.

083 covers Chanel Allure Homme's full note list - peach, ginger and lavender top, jasmine-rosewood-vetiver heart, sandalwood-tonka-coconut base - but pushes the coconut and vanilla harder, giving it a sweeter, less polished finish than the original's dry, tailored elegance.

About

083 works from Chanel Allure Homme's published notes almost point for point: peach, ginger, lavender, mandarin, bergamot and lemon open with the same fruity-aromatic freshness that made the original a smart-casual staple. The heart brings jasmine, rose, freesia, gardenia, anise, pepper, vetiver, cedar and rosewood together for a spiced floral-woody core that's a decent stab at the real thing, if a little less transparent and harder to pick apart than Chanel's carefully balanced version. The base is where the two diverge most: Allure Homme's coconut and vanilla are meant to be a whisper under sandalwood and tonka, but 083 turns the volume up on both, along with benzoin, so the finish reads sweeter and more straightforwardly gourmand than the original's dry, tailored sophistication. Leather and oakmoss add a touch of grit but not enough to offset the sweetness. Works as a softer, more casual stand-in rather than a precise copy of the designer scent.
