Divain One Million is an Eau de Parfum. One Million opens with Grapefruit, Mandarin, and Mint, settles into a heart of Rose and Cinnamon, and dries down to a base of Woody, Amber, and Patchouli. Divain's One Million carries an Acquired verdict, a spicy-led wear.

This is Divain's version of Paco Rabanne's 1 Million, one of the best-selling masculine gourmand-orientals ever made. The grapefruit-cinnamon-rose combination is unmistakable and the patchouli-amber base tracks well, but the dupe's projection falls well short of 1 Million's famously loud sillage, and the leathery facet the original carries in its base is largely absent here.

About

This dupe opens with an energising cocktail of grapefruit, fresh mint and mandarin, a sharp introduction that mirrors 1 Million's famously loud opening. As the freshness fades, a sweet-spicy heart of rose and cinnamon takes over, wrapped in a cloud of warm spice. The base leans on patchouli, amber and generic woody notes for a solid, masculine finish. The rose-cinnamon-amber signature is a fair likeness of the real thing, but this version is noticeably quieter and lacks the leathery depth of the original's base, so it works better as a moderate-distance daytime scent than the room-filling statement 1 Million is known for. High intensity on application, good longevity.
