Eden Perfumes No.107 Angel Men is an Eau de Parfum. No.107 Angel Men opens with Spicy, Green, Fruity, and Bergamot, settles into a heart of Cedar, Patchouli, Jasmine, and Lily Of The Valley, and dries down to a base of Musk, Amber, Sandalwood, and Patchouli. Eden Perfumes's No.107 Angel Men carries an Acquired verdict, a smoky-led wear.

Eden's No.107 chases the coffee-caramel-patchouli signature that made Mugler's A*Men (Angel Men) a love-it-or-hate-it icon, but softens the original's tar-and-latex intensity into a friendlier, more mainstream gourmand.

About

A*Men, known internationally as Angel Men, took the gourmand template Mugler pioneered with Angel and gave it a darker, more polarising masculine spin, built around a striking combination of coffee, caramel, patchouli and tar-like accents that reviewers describe as a love-it-or-hate-it fragrance in the same category as beer or liverwurst, an acquired taste that eventually wins over its fans completely. Eden's No.107 pulls from the same coffee-and-patchouli core, opening with coriander, green notes and lavender before a jasmine, cedar and patchouli heart, and finishing on sandalwood, tonka, amber, vanilla, benzoin and a clear coffee note. The roasted-espresso-into-sweet-caramel progression that defines the original comes through clearly here. What this vegan alternative trades away is the original's edge, the tar, latex and musty patchouli intensity reviewers describe as genuinely challenging on first wear is dialled back into a smoother, sweeter gourmand that is easier to wear day to day but loses some of A*Men's uncompromising, dark theatricality in the process.
