Just Frankincense strips the note down to its essence: dry, smoky resin with a faint citrus-peel brightness on first application that fades within minutes into a warm, dusty, almost ashen woodiness. There's no top-heart-base architecture here - this is a linear, single-material fragrance built to let frankincense speak on its own, the way it would from an unlit stick of resin warming on a censer. It reads meditative and slightly austere, closer to the inside of an old chapel or a Moroccan souk stall than to a modern designer incense accord.
