About

No.616 opens rich and rosy with a dark, earthy black truffle facet underneath, immediately establishing a moody, nocturnal character. The heart moves through vanilla and jasmine, keeping things lush and creamy rather than sharp. The base is where this fragrance builds its identity, a patchouli, oud and amber blend that reads sensual and gothic, similar in mood to the Tom Ford original's Turkish-delight richness, though noticeably lighter in weight and shorter in longevity. Projection is strong for the first couple of hours before settling into a warm, enveloping skin scent. This is very much a nighttime, cooler-weather fragrance, best suited to evenings out or date nights rather than casual daywear. A solid entry point into the dark rose-patchouli-oud genre for those priced out of the designer original.
