No.139 is Eden's aftershave alternative to Ralph Lauren's Polo Blue, one of the brand's most recognisable fresh fragrances. The top notes of bergamot, mandarin, mint and lavender give an instant citrus-aromatic burst that closely tracks the original's energetic opening. A sea-water heart nods to Polo Blue's cucumber-and-marine freshness, though it's simpler and less textured, and jasmine adds a light floral touch rarely noticed in the fast-moving composition. The sandalwood-cedar base extends the fragrance's lasting appeal, but doesn't achieve the original's soft suede depth, so it reads two-dimensional by comparison and needs reapplication sooner. Where it succeeds is delivering that unmistakable clean, sporty character for a fraction of the price, making it a practical grab for the gym, weekend errands or anywhere the designer version's cost isn't justified.
