Eden Perfumes No.470 Tabacco Vanille is a Parfum. No.470 Tabacco Vanille opens with Cardamom and Tobacco, settles into a heart of Tonka Bean and Dried Fruits, and dries down to a base of Cacao Pod, Woody, and Vanilla. Eden Perfumes's No.470 Tabacco Vanille carries an Acquired verdict, a sweet-led wear.

Eden's No.470 keeps Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille's smoky-sweet backbone of tobacco leaf and vanilla, but softens the original's dense, syrupy richness into a lighter, more linear gourmand that thins out faster.

About

Tom Ford's Tobacco Vanille is one of the most imitated gourmands around: a smoky tobacco leaf laced with thick, boozy vanilla, dried fruit, cocoa and spice, worn close and heavy. Eden Perfumes' No.470 borrows that same smoky-sweet-woody skeleton but trims the density. The tobacco and cardamom opening reads true, and the bourbon vanilla base delivers real warmth, but the dried fruit and cocoa layer that gives the original its syrupy, almost dessert-like richness comes through thinner here, and the whole composition sits closer to the skin with noticeably shorter legs than the Tom Ford original. It is still an effective cold-weather signature scent for the price, especially for date nights or evenings where a warm, tobacco-vanilla trail is the goal, but anyone who knows the original will clock the lighter touch within the first hour.
