Fleurit Parfums Gâteau des Anges is an Eau de Parfum, created by Maud Chabanis. Gâteau des Anges opens with Whisky, Lemon, Peach, and Butter, settles into a heart of Milk, Honeysuckle, and Caramel, and dries down to a base of Sweet Notes, Tuberose, and Vanilla. Fleurit Parfums's Gâteau des Anges carries an Acquired verdict, a sweet-led wear.

Lemon cake batter with a splash of whisky: butter and peach up front, caramel and warm milk in the middle, vanilla and tuberose underneath. Sweet and gourmand, best on a cool evening.

Showing: Overall Blend

Top, heart and base are the pyramid as published, not a timing claim. Each note's timing follows its listed tier, where it usually sits across many published pyramids (from ScentPrism) and its vapour pressure. A note comes through as the notes usually listed before it fade, judged from how other pyramids order the same pair. The thickness of a ribbon shows the note's share of what is left on the skin, which tracks how strongly it smells, because odour thresholds rise with vapour pressure. The shares come from how prominent wearers vote each note. It is a simple model, not a measurement.

About

Gâteau des Anges smells like the moment a lemon cake comes out of the oven. The opening is buttery and a little boozy, with a bright squeeze of lemon, soft peach and a dash of whisky keeping the sugar honest. The middle is where the cake turns creamy. Caramel and warm milk sit under a thin line of honeysuckle, which gives the sweetness some air. It never gets as far as icing; it stays closer to batter and crumb. The base is vanilla, rounded out with tuberose and a general sweet haze. Tuberose is the surprise here. It adds a white-floral richness that stops the vanilla from reading as plain dessert, and it is what makes the whole thing feel grown up. It lasts well, many hours on skin, and sits at a moderate distance: people near you will notice it, a room will not. Food scents divide people, so try it on skin before you commit. If you already like caramel and vanilla gourmands, this one is lighter and lemonier than most. Fleurit Parfums is an American house founded by Lynn King. Wear Gâteau des Anges in autumn and winter, for dinners, dates and weekends when you want to smell like something baking.
