Eau de Vintage opens with a crowd of notes. Bergamot, lime, orange and apple give a sharp citrus and fruit start, with ginger, rhubarb and raspberry adding tartness, and incense, pepper, saffron and nutmeg bringing in spice. The heart turns floral, with orange blossom, lily of the valley, rose, heliotrope, jasmine and iris. The base is dry and woody, with vetiver, guaiac wood, patchouli, tonka bean, musk and ambergris. It is a fruity, spicy, woody floral that changes a lot as it wears. It is complex and unconventional, and suits wearers who want something with depth.
