Ffern Samhain is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2026, created by Elodie Durande. Samhain opens with Lemon, Orange, Mandarin, and Petitgrain, settles into a heart of Carrot, Bergamot, Neroli, and Patchouli, and dries down to a base of Davana, Vetiver, Jasmine, and Orris. Ffern's Samhain carries a Statement verdict, an iris-led wear.

Samhain is a tricky one. It aims for earthy elegance but the powdery iris and unexpected carrot twist can be polarising. You'll either get its autumnal charm or you'll be left scratching your head.

Office Date

Its moderate projection and unique, somewhat contemplative character make it suitable for casual wear or an office environment where you want to stand out but not overwhelm. It’s a bit too quirky for truly formal events and definitely not for sport.

About

Opens with a bright citrus zest of lemon and mandarin, quickly cut by the sharp, almost peppery kick of petitgrain. Then things get really interesting: a dusty, rooty iris-carrot accord takes centre stage, softened by hints of rose and powdery violet leaf. The base settles into a sophisticated blend of earthy vetiver, sweet tonka, and a resinous benzoin, keeping things grounded and slightly woody with a whisper of juniper.
