About

Hudson Valley is Gissah at its most opulent. Blackcurrant and saffron open with a jammy, faintly medicinal bite, sweet and sharp at once, before rose swells up through the middle and softens the whole thing. The base is where it settles for the long haul: amber and patchouli, warm and resinous, with the rose still threaded through. It is an oriental woody in the Middle Eastern idiom, generous with its projection and unapologetically rich. Best worn in cooler weather or in the evening, where the amber has room to bloom rather than turn cloying.
