Inspired Oil Perfumes Rush is a perfume oil. Rush opens with Gardenia, Freesia, and Peach, settles into a heart of Rose, Jasmine, and Coriander, and dries down to a base of Vanilla, Vetiver, and Patchouli. Inspired Oil Perfumes's Rush carries an Acquired verdict, a floral-led wear.

595 recreates Gucci Rush's peach-gardenia-patchouli signature faithfully in note terms, though it loses the original's peppery, slightly synthetic edge that made Rush feel bold and distinctive in the late 90s. Warm and sensual, but a touch flatter.

About

Inspired Perfumes' 595 follows the note structure of Gucci Rush closely: peach, gardenia and freesia over a coriander-rose-jasmine heart, with a patchouli-vanilla-vetiver base. The fruity-floral opening is a reasonably faithful echo of Rush's original top notes. What is missing is the slightly sharp, spicy-synthetic edge that coriander gave the real Rush its distinctive, almost polarising character back in 1999 - here the spice reads softer and the whole composition leans more conventionally sweet and warm than bold. The patchouli-vanilla base carries a similar sensual warmth to the original's, though with less projection and staying power; Rush was known for serious longevity and sillage, and this dupe fades to a soft skin scent much sooner. A pleasant, warming floral for anyone who wants a taste of Rush's retro glamour without the vintage price tag.
