Jesús del Pozo Halloween is an Eau de Toilette launched in 1997, created by Max Gavarry. Halloween opens with Sea Water, Banana Leaf, Petitgrain, and Violet, settles into a heart of Violet, Tuberose, Magnolia, and Lily of the Valley, and dries down to a base of Sandalwood, Vanilla, Myrrh, and Incense. Jesús del Pozo's Halloween carries a Statement verdict, a green-led wear.

A soft, powdery oriental floral from 1997 built around violet and tuberose over a warm sandalwood and vanilla base. A dated but still-loved 90s classic with a cult following, sold at a deep discount that undercuts most designer florals of its era.

Top, heart and base are the brand's own listing, not a timing claim - the industry classifies a note by its character as much as by how fast it fades. Each curve here is modelled from that material's own volatility, so groups can overlap when a house lists long-lasting materials in its heart.

When To Wear

Best Seasons

Best For:
Fall Winter

The warm sandalwood, vanilla and myrrh base and powdery floral heart read best in cooler weather, though the green violet opening keeps it from feeling heavy.

Best Occasions

Also Works:
Date Casual Formal

A romantic, moderately soft floral suited to evenings and dates; the powdery sweetness is a touch much for the gym or heavy office wear.

About

Halloween is the debut fragrance in Jesus del Pozo's long-running Halloween line, launched in 1997 and created by perfumer Max Gavarry. It opens on a green, powdery violet accord lifted by sea notes and banana leaf, moves into a romantic floral heart of magnolia, lily-of-the-valley and tuberose spiced with pepper, and settles into a creamy, incense-tinged base of sandalwood, Madagascar vanilla and myrrh. Marketed at launch as a scent for a mysterious, vampish woman, it became one of the best-known budget designer florals of the late 1990s and has stayed in continuous production since, spawning several flankers including Halloween Kiss and Halloween Man.
