Jo Malone's Oud & Bergamot Cologne Intense is built on a deliberately spare note list, and this oil dupe mirrors that minimalism with just bergamot, cedarwood, and oud. The bright bergamot opening captures the original's fresh citrus lift reasonably well, though it fades faster in oil form than in the original's cologne-strength spray. The oud base arrives sooner and reads a little rougher than Jo Malone's smoother, more polished woody-oud finish, and the cedarwood link between the two feels thinner overall. A workable, wearable everyday oud-citrus blend at a fraction of the price, if lacking the original's refined balance.
