O Boticário Malbec Duo is an Eau de Toilette launched in 2011, created by Napoleão Bastos. Malbec Duo opens with Starfruit, Bergamot, Lemon, and Lime, settles into a heart of Oak, Chocolate, Rose, and Iris, and dries down to a base of Musk, Amber, Cedar, and Vetiver. O Boticário's Malbec Duo carries an Acquired verdict, a woody-led wear.

A dark, fruity, woody scent with chocolate, oak and blackcurrant in the middle and saffron and starfruit on top. Unusual and rich, it will suit men who want something different from the usual fresh scents.

Top, heart and base are the brand's own listing, not a timing claim - the industry classifies a note by its character as much as by how fast it fades. Each curve here is modelled from that material's own volatility, so groups can overlap when a house lists long-lasting materials in its heart.

About

Malbec Duo opens with a busy top: fig, cardamom, starfruit, pink pepper, violet leaf, saffron, lemon, lime and bergamot. The heart is chocolate, oak, rose, blackcurrant, iris and geranium, which makes it sweet, dark and a little woody. Cedar, amber, vetiver, patchouli, moss and musk make up the base, giving it an earthy, dry end. It is a rich, layered masculine scent that moves from spice and fruit to chocolate and wood.
