Top, heart and base are the brand's own listing, not a timing claim - the industry classifies a note by its character as much as by how fast it fades. Each curve here is modelled from that material's own volatility, so groups can overlap when a house lists long-lasting materials in its heart.

About

Petal Fetish takes a classic and dresses it for the night. It opens with an electric bite of pink pepper and ginger, which is bright, dry and a little warm, and sets you up for what comes next. The heart is rose, and only rose, and it gets room to bloom. It is lush and velvety, deep red rather than pale pink, with enough spice from the opening to keep it modern. Black cherry takes the base. It is dark, juicy and slightly boozy, the kind of smell you get from lipstick on a wine glass. It makes the rose feel sultry and keeps the drydown glossy. As a 30 percent extrait, it wears long, and the sweet-spicy trail lingers on skin and fabric. It is best for evenings, dates and cooler seasons, though one spray works on a crisp spring day. Two sprays are plenty. Bottom line: a bold rose with spice and dark cherry that turns heads.
