Oakcha The Monograph is an Extrait de Parfum. The Monograph opens with Bergamot, Grapefruit, and Orchid, settles into a heart of Vanilla and Tonka Bean, and dries down to a base of Leather, Sandalwood, and Amberwood. Oakcha's The Monograph carries a Favourite verdict, a sweet-led wear.

A tidy, well-dressed scent: bright citrus over creamy vanilla and tonka, finished with smooth leather and woods. A strong all-rounder for people who like sweetness with some structure.

Top, heart and base are the brand's own listing, not a timing claim - the industry classifies a note by its character as much as by how fast it fades. Each curve here is modelled from that material's own volatility, so groups can overlap when a house lists long-lasting materials in its heart.

About

The Monograph begins with a clean flash of bergamot and grapefruit, with a soft orchid note that adds a slightly creamy floral sheen. It reads as bright and tidy rather than sharp. The heart turns quickly to vanilla and tonka bean, which give a smooth, almond-tinged sweetness that sits close to the skin. The dry-down is where it earns its name. Sandalwood adds a milky wood, amberwood brings a dry glow, and leather appears as a soft, supple edge instead of a rough one. Nothing fights for attention, so the whole thing feels composed. In extrait concentration it lasts through a full working day and into the evening, with a medium trail that suits close conversation. It is a good choice for autumn and spring, for the office, smart casual events and dates. Two or three sprays are enough. Bottom line: a polished vanilla and leather blend that is easy to wear and hard to dislike.
